Ken Robinson : Do Schools Kill Creativity
The all-time classic, does what it says on the tin. But if you want to be a Ted speaker then this is good one to aim for.
Brene Brown : The Power of Vulnerability
Studies human connection – our ability to empathize, belong, love. In a poignant, funny talk, she shares a deep insight from her research, one that sent her on a personal quest to know herself as well as to understand humanity (I copied that from TED – can you tell?)
RSA : Animate Series
Just because they’ll make you think and tell the story in a slightly different way. It’s also worth looking at the RSA events (UK Royal Society of Arts) free talks that they offer. If you are London based then you can attend in person or they stream them online.
Ted Talks
Amazing set of talks by amazing people. So many ways you can connect on this but I particularly like the TED Radio Hour podcast.
McKinsey Quarterly
The Quarterly combines powerful insights from McKinsey with ideas from other world-leading experts and practitioners to help readers stay at the cutting edge of management thought, become more effective leaders, and boost the performance of their organizations.
